Edit or remove an integration
By the end of this page you will know how to see what’s connected to an app, change an integration’s settings, and remove an Agent Action.
Prerequisites
- An app with at least one agent integration (Agent integrations overview).
See an app’s integrations
Open the integration dialog: in the chat panel, click the + button (More options), then Add agent integration. When the app already has integrations, the dialog opens on Existing integrations, with a count.
Each row shows:
- the agent’s name, the integration type (such as Agent Action or Backend Call) and an AI or Task badge
- a summary of the settings, such as Summarize the note · on click
- Roles:, if the integration has Allowed Roles
- a pencil icon to edit and a bin icon to remove
Click + Add integration to add another, or Close to leave.
Edit an integration
Open it
Click the pencil icon on the row. The dialog title changes to Edit Integration.
Check what’s fixed
At the top, a summary shows the agent, the type and the purpose. These identify the integration and can’t be changed here:
The agent, the integration type and the purpose identify this binding and cannot be changed here. To change any of them, remove it and add a new one.
Change the settings
Everything else can be changed:
- for an Agent Action: Trigger Location, Allowed Roles, Execution Mode, Trigger, Input Sources and Output Display (see Run an agent from your app’s UI)
- for a Backend Call: When (see Call an agent from your app’s server)
Save
Click Save changes. qRaptor records the new settings, then rebuilds the app so its code matches them. The rebuild appears in the chat panel like any other change.
Remove an Agent Action
Ask to remove it
Click the bin icon on the row. A confirmation appears in the row itself: This deletes the binding and asks for the generated code to be unwired. There is no undo.
Confirm
Click Remove, or Cancel to keep it. When you remove it, qRaptor disconnects the agent from the app straight away, then rebuilds the app to take the generated code out. A button that existed only to run the agent is removed too; a control that also does something else is kept, minus the agent call.
Removing can’t be undone. To get the integration back, add it again from + Add integration.
Common issues
- You need to change the agent, the type or the purpose. They can’t be edited. Remove the integration and add a new one with the values you want.
- Two rows for the same thing. The same agent was added twice, for example with a differently spelled purpose. Remove the one you don’t want, so only one integration calls the agent for that job.
